Annunciate le nominations agli Astra Midseason Movie Awards, i riconoscimenti con cui la Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) premia i migliori film usciti durante la prima metà dell’anno solare offrendo agli appassionati di Awards Season una primissima indicazione sui potenziali competitors fino a questo momento.
Lo scorso anno iniziò proprio qui la corsa della pluripremiata opera prima di Celine Song (Past Lives) che vinse in 3 categorie (miglior attrice,miglior script, miglior film indipendente ) per poi conquistare a fine Stagione dei Premi 2 nominations all’Oscar tra cui miglior film e miglior sceneggiatura originale.
Su questa lunghezza d’onda fu proprio agli HCA Midseason Awards (è da quest’anno che hanno cambiato nome) che 2 anni fa Everything Everywhere All At Once gettò le basi della sua trionfale corsa verso gli Oscar, vincendo in ben 7 categorie.
Quest’anno a guidare le nominations c’è Dune: Part Two (7 nominations). Seguono a pari merito con 6 nominations: Civil War, Challengers, The Full Guy.
