Per la categoria Miglior Attrice Greta Lee (Past Lives) si conferma la più nominata (8), seguita da Emma Stone (Povere Creature) e da Margot Robbie (Barbie). E’ solo la quarta candidatura della stagione per la favorita Lily Gladstone (Killers of the Flower Moon) che in compenso ha vinto finora il maggior numero di riconoscimenti. Tra le sorprese Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor (Origin) che ha già al suo attivo una nomination ai Gotham Awards.
Tra le noti dolenti l’assenza di Robert De Niro e Leonardo DiCaprio (Killers of the Flower Moon) che continuano ad essere ignorati dai premi dei critici americani raccogliendo solo una candidatura a testa: il primo ai Michigan Movie Critics Guild Awards e il secondo ai Chicago Film Critics Association Awards.
